Prices
GS Cleaning prices include all professional cleaning products, equipment, insurance, travel etc. Prices are not negotiable and I do not price match.
Services
GS Cleaning offer regular weekly cleans, bi-weekly cleans, monthly cleans, move in/out cleans, end of tenancy cleans, holiday let/Airbnb cleans, commercial and office cleans and deep cleans. Deep cleans, monthly cleans, holiday let/airbnb cleans and end of tenancy cleans often take longer and will be charged at an extra rate than the regular, bi-weekly cleans.
Extras requested in your service, such as change of bed linen or cleaning of kitchen appliances, will be charged at an additional cost to the regular rate as the clean will take longer than a regular clean. If you require any extras in your clean, I must be notified with at least 48 hours’ notice so that extra time can be accommodated.
GS carpet cleaning is a separate service and is to be booked as a separate slot.
Customer satisfaction guarantee
If there is any aspect of my work that you are not happy with, please get in touch as soon as possible and the same day of the clean and I will rectify as soon as I can. I do not provide refunds.
Before I start cleaning
I visit to view the property to discuss your requirements and assess the amount of work involved. I will provide you with a quote at the visit and this can be emailed to you if requested.
If your property has a key safe, security system or alarm and you are not going to be present at the property for your clean, please ensure I have the code prior to your clean.
Prior to your clean, please notify myself if anything is broken or could injure myself for health & safety reasons.
It is helpful if clutter is cleared from the floors or sides as moving this takes more time of the cleaning process.
If no one will be present at the property – please arrange with me prior to collect a key or arrange to leave in a key safe or safe place, making me aware before the clean where this will be.
On the day
I respectfully request that the property is vacated for the duration of the clean. If you work from home, please stay in one room to enable me to complete my work efficiently.
I will do my best to clean under/ around large furniture, however, I am unable to move very heavy or large pieces of furniture such as wardrobes and sofas. If there is an item of furniture you would like cleaned under/ behind, you are welcome to move it out before the clean.
I am unable to clean properties where there is an infestation (e.g. rodents, fleas).
If there are any contagious illnesses within the household, please make me aware prior to your clean and this can be rescheduled for the safety of myself and others.
Payment
Full payment (minus any deposit) is required on the day of the clean. You are welcome to pay before your clean if that is more convenient for you. If you repeatedly pay late, I will terminate my services.
Please pay by bank transfer. Invoices are provided by email after your clean is completed.
If payments are late by more than 2 days – a late payment fee will be applied to each day the payment is late.
Photos & social media
I take ‘before and after’ photos for my customers – please make me aware before your clean if you do not wish for me to use photos/videos of your clean to advertise my work/business.
Confidentiality
All my work is confidential. I will not tell anyone I clean for you, nor will I discuss any aspect of my work for you with others.
Deposits
A 50% non-transferable deposit is required to secure bookings for one-off/ deep cleans. This secures the date for you and is not transferable to another date or to another customer/ property. If you cancel the booking, you will lose your deposit.
Working hours
My working days are Monday – Friday, out of these hours may be discussed and I will assess with discretion. I will occasionally take holiday and will give you ample notice.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your clean, please let me know as soon as possible. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the clean will be charged at full price. This applies to all customers.
If you or others in your household are too ill to go to work or school, please contact me as soon as possible to cancel your clean.
If I am unable to access the property as arranged, the clean will be charged at full price.
